Privacy notice for CabSight Business
How we handle personal data when your company uses CabSight Business. Please read it before you create an account.

Who is responsible
CabSight is a product of Kiatar AB, company registration number 559608-8574. Kiatar AB is the controller for the data about you as a user of the account: your email address, your name if you give it, and the technical data needed to sign in securely. Contact: support@cabsight.com.
Data your company enters
Your company is responsible for the data it enters about drivers, vehicles, revenue, costs and documents. For that data Kiatar AB is a processor and handles it only to provide the service to your company, under the data processing agreement. Do not enter sensitive personal data in free-text fields, for example health or trade-union membership.
Why, and on what legal basis
We need your account data to provide the service to your company (contract, Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). Without it we cannot create an account. We process technical data for sign-in and protection against misuse to keep the service secure (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f)). If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we use the data to answer you (legitimate interest). We do not use the data for advertising and we do not sell it.
How long
Account data is kept while the account is in use. When your company has closed its account, or when the service ends, we delete the data within 90 days. If you ask for deletion sooner, we do it within 30 days. Messages sent through the contact form and emails to support are kept for 12 months after the last contact; this also applies to our note that a deletion has been carried out. The database is backed up daily and the copies expire on their own after 7 days, so deleted data remains there for at most 7 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict how we use it, and receive it in a format that can be moved. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to support@cabsight.com from the email address you signed up with. We reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Who handles data for us
Database and sign-in: Supabase (data stored in Stockholm, Sweden). Hosting: Vercel (USA). Email for confirmation and password-reset messages: Resend (USA). Email to support: Zoho (stored in the EU). They process the data on our behalf under data processing agreements. If data is transferred to, or accessed from, a country outside the EU/EEA, for example for technical support, it is protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
